ACA is an elite training academy based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, taking an athlete-centric approach to cycling development.
Ben Coates is from Sydney Australia, racing BMX for 5 years before moving to the road at 11 years old. His first summer season in Europe as an Under 17 was in 2024 with Dutch team Willebrord Wil Vooruit (WWV), taking 8 wins and numerous podiums in races across Belgium and The Netherlands.
Ben is looking forward to his first season as an Under 19 with ARA Skip Capital,. He hopes to further develop his skills and experience as a bike racer and contribute to the success of the team. His goal is to join a World Tour Team one day as a proud Australian.
