Tadej Pogacar became the first winner of the Critérium de Madrid on Sunday. That race was organised on the long Paseo de la Castellana main road in the centre of the Spanish capital.
Carlos Rodrigues was also present at the start line and finished behind Pogacar and secured the second position. Equipo Kern Pharma rider Raúl Garcia Pierna completed the podium. A trial race was also behind before the main event in which Pogacar’s teammate Juan Ayuso secured the win ahead of Jonathan Lastra.
