Baloise Trek Lions dominate the cyclocross field. Ten victories have already been achieved by the team this season. Three of them are the sole responsibility of Lars van der Haar.
"This offers a lot of perspective for the future," Sven Nys told WielerFlits. He continues, "These results do a lot of good. We have tried in recent years to attract some young guys who we were sure were going to offer quality in the long run. Actually, we already see results, and it is falling well. Pim and Thibau are doing very well, and we can then add two slightly older guys Lars and Joris. That offers a lot of perspective in general."
A key member of the team is Lars van der Haar. The team has already earned three gold, seven silver and five bronze medals this season thanks to him. "It is really clever that Lars is on the podium on every course this year. He is so stable," Nys praised the Dutchman.
He believes that the team's future is bright and that they will continue to dominate for a very long time to come. "I'm really looking forward to the next few years. Those guys are going to keep making strides, and I'm sure of that. The dynamic between those guys is very nice to see. That's really the team I want to work on," concluded Nys.
